I just wrote this nice little post and lost it. Blah. Computers are pissing me off lately. Mine isn't working at the moment and it will be a little while before it's fixed, I think. So I'm using Craig's for the time being. Anna and Josh came down last night. We took them to a seriously sketchy pizza place. I thought it would be fun to go eat downtown (also known as Uptown down here, weird). Yeah, the pizza was alright, but I'm not sure it made up for everything else that was going on around us. After dinner we took them on post to show Josh around. And got the idea of dressing him up in Craig's uniform on the way home. I don't know that I've laughed that hard in awhile. I can't post them right now, so you'll have to go to his blog to see. We worked on our house this weekend. We got a lot done. Our countertops are in, and the tiling has started. They still need to come back and finish, but it's a start. It's getting to the point where it's just loose ends in each room. I can't believe we only have a few more weeks before we move in. I can't wait. I don't know that it has really hit me what a big thing this is until this past weekend. I think I've just been so preoccupied with getting it ready. But Craig and I were talking the other night about how long we're planning on staying in it. And we've decided that five years, at least, would be a good time frame. Because it would give me time to get through law school. We've talked about trying to get pregnant the end of my last year in law school. So this could potentially be the house we bring a baby home to. Which yeah, I guess is maybe a little overwhelming to think about. But this is also the house that my parents brought me home from the hospital too. I just feel really really really lucky. Blessed. When we compare pictures of what it was to what we've made it, it's rewarding. I can't even begin to tell you how excited we are about it.
